the day the earth stood still
today, we went to watch the movie " the day the earth stood still" at first, i thought that the movie will consist of gore and all the disgusting effect as it was PG 13. the movie started at 9.15 pm to about 11.15 pm. i was not so thrill as i hated all the movies with the livers and the organs effect coming out. but i had no choice as my mother bought the ticket. the movie was more interesting that i thought. it had none of the "disgusting effect" the movie was a remake of the old film several decades earlier. this movie was about an alien coming to earth for a certain "reason" what's the reason u may ask?? you have to see it for yourself as i would ruin it if i tell u now. but i can guaranty that it will not bore you as it had both suspense and mystery. i strongly recommend the movie and you should watch it during the holidays!!!!!DID YOU KNOW?: Dogs Head Lives Without Body
In 1940 Dr. S.S. Bryukhonenko at the Institute of Experimental Physiology and Therapy, Voronezh, U.S.S.R conducted research where he experimented with dogs and proved that dogs head can live without its body for three days. Special artificial conditions were created to power the head with arterial and venous pumps. Dog's isolated head reacted to all basic external stimulants: light, sound, pain and taste. This disturbing Russian experiment helped scientist around the world to create artificial organs that are used by many medical institutes. More recently Dr. Robert White of Ohio claims that he transplanted a monkey's head onto another monkey's body. If you have a good stomach check this odd video which shows in detail how dog's head is living without body.

the days during holidays...
seeing that my "friend" wanted me to update even though i have nothing to talk about, i will update just coz i had the time..... the days during the holidays for me were just like normal holidays.... i didn't go anywhere and just stayed at home either reading(not studying) or playing games........ it's just normal saturdays and sundays for me with the difference of the duration.......... now, that was boring, wasn't it???DID YOU KNOW?:Number Thirteen Facts
The fear of number 13 is called triskaidekaphobia and it was derived from treiskaideka, the Greek word for thirteen and phobia. There were thirteen people at Christ's Last Supper before his captivity, it is recorder that Christ was crucified on Friday. Routine mission to the moon goes drastically wrong on Apollo 13. Some hotels skip number thirteen when numbering rooms. In Formula 1, there is no car with the number 13.
